On now at Les Arts Décoratifs, this exhibition tells the stories of Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs, highlighting their contributions to the fashion world and the history of the Vuitton brand and how it has contributed to the fashion industry. The exhibit examines the company’s roots from its birth in 1854 to today, creatively led by Marc Jacobs. The show depicts how the industry has changed over the past century and the role Vuitton has played in shaping these changes.

A unique Marilyn Monroe exhibition London event takes place at Getty Images Gallery this spring as a collection of iconic photography and costumes go on show to mark the 50th anniversary of the star’s death. Ms Monroe still stands as the most influential actress and fashion icon of her day. The exhibition runs until Wednesday 23rd May 2012 – entrance is free.
